Ranjeet is the mother of Amrit Dani, an organ donor, who died in 2015, at age seventeen and a half. Through the support and endeavours of BC Transplant, Ranjeet has been able to meet the heart recipient and his family. The connection has been profound, playing an important role in the transplant journey for both families. She has participated in a few transplant research projects. These opportunities enable her to share her perspective as the mother of an organ donor, thus contributing to donation awareness and research.
